Thoughts

Dad Last Saturday I held up a glass of Abbots straight from the pump at the Roaring Donkey to toast the good memories we had You would always let me know how bad my spelling was especially on Fathers Day when I would always write Farthers day Even though I moved to Wisbech we would spend many times chatting on the phone at our 7 o clock time slot most days I thank you for helping me to get to where I am today and thank you for the 50 files you left us to go through upstairs at Clacton Also the bottle of whisky we found and drank that was hidden in the back bedroom cupboard for just the occasion keeping us up till 1.30 in the morning Love you and miss you Russell Ps enjoyed your spicy tomato sardines on toast Grandad One of my favourite memories of you was when we visited and decided to introduce you to Rumikub Although you tried your hardest I couldn’t stop laughing at how confused you were Despite this you fell in love with the game and it became a tradition to play it when ever we visited You still didn’t quite get the rules after many times explaining them Love you always Grandad Love Lily Xxx Grandad One thing that sticks in my mind was when ever I came to visit we would all go to the sea front to get ice cream You would alway ask for something minty and would always be first to finish Love you always Daisy Xxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
